10 things I learnt in 2019

1. The importance of knowing my own mind – not to be easily influenced by others, or distracted by others opinions. Don’t worry about what others may think.

2. Do what’s best for me – stop people pleasing. It’s not selfish to take care of yourself, have boundaries and prioritise your needs.

3. I matter, people matter – stay connected.

4. Don’t look back, look to the future

5. It’s ok to dream big

6. Travel is good for the soul

7. Just because someone is an expert doesn’t mean they are right. We are all unique and different.

8. It’s ok to be vulnerable and let people in

9. Always have something to look forward to

10. Serenity prayer

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
